Art Direction for Best Buy / Future Shop: Big Campaigns. Bigger Moments.

Over seven years at Best Buy / Future Shop, I progressed from Production to Team Lead and ultimately spent more than half of that time as Art Director, leading national retail campaigns, brand guidelines, and integrated creative across digital, social, web, email, and in-store channels. I partnered closely with Production, Web, Signage, and Social teams to deliver cohesive, performance-driven design solutions while maintaining brand consistency at scale.

As Art Director, I led high-impact campaigns including a pre-Black Friday YouTube spot recognized by Marketing Magazine as the most popular Black Friday/Cyber Monday ad of 2014 with 90,000+ views.

I also directed the “Guess the Gift” campaign, achieving a 4–5% engagement rate—more than double the industry average—and setting the benchmark for future pre-roll campaigns.

In parallel, I designed and optimized email programs that drove measurable lifts in CTR, CTOR, orders, and email-attributed revenue, and served as Lead Designer for the 2012 Future Shop rebrand, focusing on clarity, hierarchy, and conversion across retail and digital environments.
